The Conservatory

The Conservatory represents the outdoor Botanical Gardens in one climate controlled environment.

The Conservatory features native plants year-round, allowing visitors a view of the Acadian Forest even when the outside is blanketed in snow. The conservatory is open daily until 10 pm, allowing evening viewing when the outdoor Gardens are closed. If you visit in late winter you’ll be lucky enough to watch spring happen early, we start heating things up at the end of February
for some much needed early blossoms.

One day a year the Conservatory is transformed into a tropical house to hold an annual Orchid Display put on by the Valley Orchid Growers.

The displays in the Conservatory change each season. Currently you’ll find an interpretative display on conifers of the Acadian Forest Region as well as examples of common fungi and forest debris.
